When we wanted best quality CV sets for a very heavy duty competition application we purchased some CV conversion set's and these did not meet the requirements for extreme competition use. As a result we have commenced manufacturing CV conversions of highest quality with reduced tolerances compared to others on the market. 

The reasons our CV sets are better are detailed in the table below-

EN36 or 4140 steel used Tougher 4340 steel, heat treated to our specification. Shafts are plated and de-embrittled. 
Shafts have up to 3.5 degrees radial movement on splines, causing spline impact and potential shearing with on/off throttle Shafts are custom made for CV resulting in less than 0.5 degrees radial movement with shaft push fit on spline.
6061T6 alloy adapters for CV shafts. Alloy is soft for application and can pull threads needs Helicoils to strengthen threads 7500 series aircraft frame grade alloy used that is as tough as steel.
In conventional CV adapters, the diff inner bolts transmit the drive in single shear, also the wheel stub axle adapters use the same method. These commonly come loose in competition use.

Datrats CV adapters use a recessed square dog to transmit drive. With the dog action,  the bolts are only used to locate adapter on the dog. These drives are used on both inner and outer drive shafts. This is our own registered design and is not available elsewhere.

This box has a modified selector for a quick shift.

               

 

Six cylinder strength with 4 cylinder length.  This box fit 1600's etc in the standard position with no need to cut a larger hole for the shift lever.
